Cindy Charlson is a personal trainer specializing in senior fitness and functional progressive strength training at Family Chiropractic Associates in Scarborough, Maine.

She earned her Associate Degree in Resource Business Management in 1984 from the University of Maine at Orono, and has over 25 years of fitness and personal training experience. Cindy is certified as a personal trainer and weight management specialist through the American Council on Exercise and holds specialty certificates as a Senior Fitness Specialist by Exercise ETC.

She has taught the original Johnny G Spinning®, developed and taught a variety of group fitness classes. Cindy has presented on a variety of topics about health and fitness to small groups, as well as to 50 or more people. Cindy has completed extensive training in Clinical Flexibility and Therapeutic Exercise allowing her to effectively assess and improve a client’s flexibility. She presently focuses on helping clients who are interested in improving their health and increasing their functional strength allowing them to live life to the fullest.

Cindy lives in Scarborough with her husband, puppy and three cats. She enjoys snowshoeing and walking the beach with her family.
